  • Seed Depth: 1/4" (6mm)

  • Sow outdoors in very early spring in full sun and loose, evenly moist soil with plenty of organic matter. Before planting, loosen soil to a depth of 4" to help the roots grow straight. Be patient! Carrots can be slow to germinate.
  • Loosen the soil with a garden fork before harvesting. Cut off the green tops 1/4-1/2" from the top of the carrot, and rinse and dry the root before storage.
